Specifications & Price for Huawei MateBook D 14 and MatePad D 15

Boladadu.com- Along with the launch of the Huawei MatePad Pro tablet, Huawei also added to its new laptop collection by launching the Huawei MateBook D.

The new laptop from Huawei arrives in two variants, namely MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15. As the name suggests, the two devices can be distinguished in screen size, but the specifications carried are almost identical.

As far as specifications are concerned, MateBook D 14 was launched by packing a 14-inch Full HD screen and weighing around 1.38kg.

MateBook D 15 on the other hand comes with a 15.6-inch IPS screen that offers Full HD resolution, 16: 9 aspect ratio and has a screen-to-body ratio of 87 percent.

Huawei relies on the Intel Core i5 or i7 10th generation for the new laptop that is combined with the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage.

There is also the MateBook D Ryzen edition that comes with an AMD R5 3500U processor and has AMD dual channel memory which is claimed to improve graphics performance by more than 30 percent.

MateBook D Duo has been equipped with a one-touch power button along with fingerprint sensor support. It also includes the Shark Fin 2.0 Silent Fan feature to regulate heat dissipation.

The MateBook D 14 and MatePad D 15 laptops run on the Windows 10 operating system. But Huawei also released a Linux version for those who wanted it.

Other features provided include a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI, 1x USB Type-C port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, and 1x USB 3.0 port. Meanwhile, to keep it on, MateBook D 14 is powered by a 56Wh or 42Wh battery.

Huawei claims that the new laptop can be used to work 13 hours or 13.2 hours when playing Full HD video and 12 hours while surfing the virtual world on a single charge.

Speaking of price, the Huawei MateBook D 14 starts at 5,199 Yuan (US $ 755), while the MateBook D 15 is priced at 5,299 yuan (around US $ 760).
